People often assume that once a digital photo is taken, it is then ready to view, print, or otherwise save as a completed image. The fact is that this is when the real work often begins.
Although some images are perfect when viewed in the computer, it is not very common. Most images require some sort of tweaking or adjustment, whether it be a minor correction of color or contrast, or a more involved correction, such as changing the shape of a person or object, or enhancing the sky or other element.
Because a picture is worth a thousand words, we thought it best to show some before and after photos to illustrate the kinds of things we often do AFTER a photo has been taken:

This photo was shot on the shore of the St. Lawrence River in autumn.
We adjusted the shape of the model's coat, and enhanced the color and sharpness of the image.

When requested, we can enhance a subject's best features, and minimize less attractive qualities.
The results can be quite stunning, yet the photograph still looks quite natural!

We removed shadows, then enhanced all of the color that were present in the scene to create a high definition image.
We further enhanced the photograph by adding additional yellow to create a dreamy effect.

We gave the model softer and brighter hair, and brought out her best features.
In this way, we captured a more youthful representation of the subject.

The client requested that the power towers be removed in this photo of their office.
We did that, and used a different image of the sky in place of the original.

This photo had the contrast and color manipulated.
The model had her best features emphasized and her nails colored red.

We did some body sculpting to improve on the model's shape.
Lighting and color was enhanced to make the photo more interesting.

In this wedding photo, we highlighted the color and skin tones of the bride and groom.
Parked cars were also removed from the background.

In this example, braces were removed and skin improved upon.
Subtle enhancements to color and shape were also made to the face and hair.
These are only a few examples of what can be done when we edit digital photos. We generally charge just $15.00 per photo, but in some cases we may quote a higher price, such as when producing Photographic Art.
