The new tradition of Trashing the Dress is gaining popularity. After the wedding, a second photo shoot is scheduled, and the dress is worn in the water, or perhaps on a muddy field, as a declaration that the wedding is done and the dress will not be used again. It is seen as an alternative to storing the dress away.

Sometimes the groom will also take part in the photo-shoot, or a bride may wish to have her maid of honor, or her bridesmaids to join in the fun. The resulting photos are a joyous reminder that the marriage will last, as there is no further need to keep the dress.

Fashionography currently offers a Trash the Dress photo shoot FOR FREE to any brides whose weddings we've photographed.
